Powerball & Powerspin – perfect aid for rehabilitation ofShoulder Bursitis
The unique non-impact isometric resistance training that Powerball and Powerspin provide is the perfect antidote for the relief of Shoulder Bursitis. Powerball products are recommended by physios and chiropractors and have been tested by the 4 million people who have benefited from Powerball & Powerspin.
How does Powerball Treat Shoulder Bursitis?
The isometric non-impact exercise from using Powerball and Powerspin increases blood circulation into the rotator cuff dramatically. This sends healing nutrients to the affected Bursa region. The non-impact exercise reduces inflammation and helps stabilise the shoulder joint by strengthening the surrounding muscles and tendons. Powerball’s isometric exercise stabilises the Rotator Cuff and shoulder joints by helping co-contraction.
Warming up the shoulder joint
Both products are also a perfect way to warm-up and lubricate the bursa region prior to any sporting activity, helping prevent possible inflammation and injury as a result. See our physio designed rehabilitation videos on this page below or in the videos section.
What is Shoulder Bursitis?
A bursa is a tiny fluid-filled sac that lubricates the joint and reduces friction, rubbing and irritation between bone, muscle & tendons during daily body movement. Shoulder Bursitis refers to painful inflammation or swelling of the subacromialbursa located around the shoulder joint brought on by repetitive movement, minor impact or from a sudden, more serious injury.
For more than 20 years I have had left shoulder pain when using a throwing motion during softball. I had been to the doctor, had a cortisone shot, x-rays, an MRI, Physical Therapy, and given home exercises to do. The diagnosis was shoulder bursitis. None of the treatments provided relief, and I was about ready to give up playing softball. Before last season began, I started using Powerball regularly and was pleasantly surprised to find that the pain reduced significantly.
Based on what I’d read, I figured the primary areas where improvement may be seen were the wrist and forearm. However, the shoulder improvement was such that I was able to continue playing. I still don’t really have the arm strength to throw as hard as the younger guys out there but at least the pain is barely noticeable most of the times. I’m sure if it wasn’t for the benefits of working out with Powerball I would be on the sidelines watching. In fact, I have little doubt my softball days would be long done if it wasn’t for the Powerball and my range of motion in that shoulder would be very limited.

I find that Powerball works very efficiently to both strengthen grip and rehab arm conditions for sportspeople and patients. Additionally, I find Powerspin to be highly beneficial for shoulder and upper back rehabilitation.

Decided to upgrade from my old 250hz Auto start to the 280hz Fusion Pro Auto start & what a difference, the Fusion Pro is a lot smoother & quieter plus you have the added Bonus of the Red & Blue bright LED’s that light up the faster the gyro spins…
I have quite a bit of shoulder pain & out of all the things I have tried to rehabilitate them including Weights, Resistance Band’s TENS Machine, the Powerball is by far the Best, I can now sleep at night thanks to Powerball.
If you go onto YouTube there are loads of videos showing you different rehabilitation exercises for your Fingers, Wrist, Arm & Shoulder.

Improve Rotator Cuff Flexibity & Strength with Powerball
I saw an advert for this saying it was good for shoulder pain. I have been suffering for well over a year now and daily use of the Powerball has made a huge improvement. I am expecting a full recovery with time.
Just a couple of minutes a day (literally) and my shoulder pain eased in 3-4 days. I try to use it every day to keep the joint working.
Physio recommended Powerball to me to rehabilitate my shoulder, glad he did, amazing product.
SPORTS REHABILITATION. BUILDING SHOULDER STRENGTH.
On the 8th of March last year, I tore a Rotator Cuff tendon in my right shoulder whilst playing squash. Before that day I was competing in long distance open water Masters swimming events, playing squash and golf regularly and loving it. I have seen many physiotherapists and consultant osteopaths, had an MRI scan and purchasing numerous products design to help me cure my shoulder. I’ve spent many hours exercising with bands.
However, after nearly eight weeks of using an amber Powerball 250 Hz Regular, I am convinced it has done the trick. I’ve recently bought a Vortex that I’m also very pleased with. I use it for about 30 minutes every day and plan to continue until the day I’m pushing up daisies.
I am now slowly but surely swimming again and playing squash and golf. I’ve been a sad man during the time I could not play my sports. My Powerball has made me a happy man. Sounds very corny but is very very true.
